Three locations. Distinct brand identities. A wealth of details. One objective: to transform existing retail spaces into authentic brand experiences.
For LVMH, we have further developed existing retail spaces at Globus in Geneva, Basel and Zurich. We were responsible for the design at all three locations—based on the respective brand style guides. The scope ranged from targeted interventions to a comprehensive refurbishment in Geneva.
A little piece of Reims in Geneva
The focus was on the new Ruinart wall. For its unveiling, we brought a piece of Reims to Geneva—at least in terms of design. The light, relief-like stone finish echoes the historic crayères of the champagne house and brings a central aspect of Ruinart’s identity into the retail space. Warm lighting and champagne-coloured metal accents create the perfect setting for the premium cuvées.
A Ruinart wall of this calibre was considered virtually impossible to achieve. To us, that sounded more like a job to be done.
Different brands, different solutions
In Basel and Zurich, the focus was on targeted refinements. New headers were created for Moët & Chandon, whilst the Rosé de Provence brands Château d’Esclans, Minuty and Château Galoupet were given selected new elements. Custom-made brass details complemented the existing systems. Added to this was the CHANDON spritz wall, which we produced and installed.
The result was a bespoke solution at each location: sometimes through the comprehensive creation of a brand universe, sometimes through precise changes in just the right places. Always executed to a high standard and clearly developed from the respective brand identity.
Nothing was off-the-shelf. Even though we had quite a lot to do with shelving.
