Just how much ‘wow!’ can you actually fit into a few square metres? Or to put it another way: how many POS displays, brand spaces and instagrammable places can be created in four weeks?
The answer in this case is: 13
And no – it certainly wasn’t boring.
It all started with Cartier at KaDeWe. The enquiry came in on a Friday afternoon, straight from Italy. The aim: a point-of-sale display area that reflected the brand’s standards down to the very last detail. Plenty of time? Not really. So it was a case of sorting through ideas, organising materials, starting production and getting going.
The entire installation was completed on Sunday evening. Sales began as early as Monday morning. These are exactly the sort of projects we like.
The project utilised gold leaf, a 3D-printed inlay with a pyramid structure, anodised metal, specially coated Plexiglas and high-quality film techniques. Each material had its own specific purpose. Together, they created a surface that did not need to be loud to attract attention.
Or to put it another way: Instagrammable design meets uncompromising brand quality.
The focus was on Cartier’s new eyewear collection – perfectly staged, presented to the highest standard and complemented by a trained promotional team who not only explained the brand’s identity but also brought it to life.
The exhibition was actually planned to run for two weeks. Two weeks eventually turned into several. Sometimes it’s not the presentation that speaks for itself, but the result.
At the same time, we created ten further POS activations for a world-leading technology company in telecoms shops. Unfortunately, we can’t reveal too much about this. Suffice to say: it involved design, production, installation and a fair bit of creative thinking.
And as if that weren’t enough, we were also commissioned to create two further brand spaces for rocket.beauty. For the extraordinary fragrance brands BORNTOSTANDOUT and Fugazzi, we developed entirely unique brand worlds – full of character, featuring exciting materials and a great deal of attention to detail. There’ll be a separate post on this soon.
All in all, we delivered 13 temporary brand installations for three clients within four weeks. Luxury. Technology. Beauty. Three completely different industries. Three different sets of requirements. One shared goal: to make brands visible. To bring brands to life. And to create Instagrammable places that get people talking – and that people love to photograph.
4,133 hours? No.
4,133 ideas – that’s more likely. 😉
And that’s exactly why we love what we do.
